English: Leptospira IgG Positive: A positive Leptospira IgG result indicates the presence of IgG antibodies against Leptospira bacteria in your blood. IgG antibodies are produced by your immune system in response to a previous exposure to the bacteria. It suggests that you have encountered Leptospira at some point in the past, and your immune system has developed a response to it. Leptospira IgM Negative: A negative Leptospira IgM result means that there are no detectable IgM antibodies against Leptospira bacteria in your blood. IgM antibodies are typically produced during the early stages of an active infection. The absence of IgM antibodies suggests that you do not currently have an acute or recent Leptospira infection. |
