Description
Français : Le long de cet ancien chemin de halage, de puissants platanes furent plantés comme arbres d'alignement le long du quai des Alpes. La légende veut que la plupart de ceux plantés le long des routes en France fut de l'initiative de Napoléon Bonaparte pour protéger son armée du soleil lors des nombreuses marches ayant fait cette dernière. Ici, peu d'information sur la motivation, mais quoi qu'il en soit, le rôle est toujours maintenu puisque le chemin de halage accueille maintenant de nombreux joggeurs et promeneurs.
