Georg Bredig (1868-1944) provides feedback on the scientific work of his son, Max Bredig (1902-1977) and suggests that he consult the work of the Czech botanist Friedrich Czapek (1868-1921). Together with the American chemist, Arthur Wayland Dox (1882-1954), Czapek was the founder of the Czapek-Dox medium, a culture medium for cultivating fungi in a laboratory. |
