Description
Français : Lierre (en néerl. Lier), ville de Flandre (Belgique), située à une quinzaine de km. au sud-est d’Anvers.
Église du béguinage, placée sous le vocable de Sainte-Marguerite (néerl. Sint-Margarethakerk), de style baroque, construite entre 1664 et 1665, d’après les plans des arch. L. Kest en J. De Winter ; clocheton d'Engelbert Baets. Gros plan sur la travée centrale de la façade orientale (le chœur est tourné vers l’ouest), avec portail d'entrée, sommé d'une niche abritant une statue de sainte Marguerite, œuvre du sculpteur M. J. d'Heur.
Nederlands: Lier, prov. Antwerpen, België. Barokke begijnhofkerk, d.i. Sint-Margarethakerk, gebouwd 1664-1665, n.o.v. arch. L. Kest en J. De Winter; klokkentoren van de hand van Engelbert Baets.
