Description

13 Battalion, Durham Light Infantry

Son of Anthony and Jane Chalmers Brown, of "Broomhill," Southend Rd., Beckenham, Kent.

A graduate of New College Oxford, he was killed in action aged 29 on 4 November 1915 at Armentieres. He is buried at Ration Farm Military Cemetery, La Chapelle-d'Armentieres.

His brother, Captain T A Brown was killed near Loos in 1917.
