| Description |
Deutsch: Ligusterhecken waren auf Wangerooge im Ort als Grundstücksbegrenzung sehr verbreitet. Im Juli 2022 blühten sie auf auffällig weiß. Hier sieht man im Hintergrund ein Gebäudeteil des Inselgymnasiums. Die Hecke steht an der Ecke Friedrich-August-Straße zur Rösgenstraße. Unten rechts im Bild sieht man die Nahaufnahme einiger Blüten und eines Blattes. Typisch sind die vier schönen weißen Blütenblätter, Kronblätter genannt.
