Français : Pax (la paix) sculpté par Edgar Boutry (1857-1938) et ici dans le Hall du Palais des Beaux-Arts de Lille. Figure féminine (allégorie) représentant la paix marchant sur la dépouille d'un lion écorché, avec à son côté gauche un enfant tenant un glaive. E. Boutry a produit plusieurs sculptures sur le thème de la paix.
English: Pax(peace) carved by Edgar Boutry (1857 - 1938), and here in the Hall of Palace of Fine Arts in Lille. Female figure (allegory) representing Peace walking on the remains of a skinned lion, with on his left a child holding a sword. E. Boutry has produced several sculptures on the theme of the peace. |
