Description

Jim Crutchfield and fellow members of the Santa Fe Institute at Cisco, after his talk on massively parallel mathematics for automated pattern discovery and the emergence of artificial particle physics and phase transitions in <a href="http://atlas.wolfram.com/01/01/18/01_01_220_18.gif" rel="noreferrer nofollow">Rule 18</a> and <a href="http://atlas.wolfram.com/01/01/22/01_01_220_22.gif" rel="noreferrer nofollow">Rule 22</a>.

The constructs of our world arise from the iterative application of simple rules, forming a corpus of <a href="http://jurvetson.blogspot.com/2004/08/quantum-computational-equivalence.html" rel="noreferrer nofollow">irreducible computational complexity</a>.

Also, I pulled up Gustavo’s maps of the flickr social network, and some of the UC Davis Professors were keenly interested.
