Summary

[edit]
Description I have always wondered about this picture. According tot he Al Ain zoo authorities, they do not want their animals to get lazy and expect an easy meal each time, so they make them work to get at it. With this in mind, they have served this fellow his lunch frozen in a solid block of ice. No doubt the female lion has to play with it or work to break it till it gets to the meat. But this made me wonder, don't these animals prefer fresh, warm meat? How would they feel eating an ice-cold piece of flesh frozen solid? Hmmmm. (Al Ain, UAE, July 2010)
