Summary
[edit]DescriptionLitfaß column Feb05.JPG |
English: A Litfaßsäule in Wieden, Vienna's 4th district. One of the advertisements is for a concert with Kurt Masur; at the bottom there is the weekly programme of the theatres of Vienna. At the very top of the column Vienna's coat of arms signifies that this is municipal property.
By the way, Bobby's Food Store in the background is one of the few places in Vienna where one can buy British food imports (biscuits, sweets, soft drinks, beer, tea, etc. etc.)—despite its US-sounding name. |
