Summary[edit]

Description
English: The Rekh Deul Temple of Banda is made of stone. The temple faces north and has a covered area in front of it resting on stone pillars, The temple is approximately 72 feet in height. This is a rare stone Deul temple of Purulia district which is still intact unlike other similar kinds of temples in the district. The Temple is richly decorated, the themes being creepers, scrollwork, and stylised chaitya window. The Temple is datable to c.11th-century AD.
