Description

Loches (Indre-et-Loire)

L'Hôtel Nau (XVIe).

L'Hôtel Nau tire son nom d'une famille de magistrats qui l'acheta en 1757*. A cette date, l'hôtel fut vendu par la veuve du président et lieutenant général au baillage de Loches, Jean Jacques Guesbin de Rassay.

Les Nau revendirent l'hôtel, après trois générations.

Vendu en 1843, l'Hôtel Nau devint ensuite un café puis un hôtel commercial : l'hôtel de Saint-Antoine.

Une tour d'escalier occupe l'angle des bâtiments. Les fenêtres sont encadrées de pilastres doriques. A gauche de la tour d'escalier, trois loggias Renaissance Italienne.
