| Description |
English: Hocking County has been approved for a Clean Ohio grant to conduct remediation activities on this former manufacturing property. After more than 100 years of brick manufacturing on the property, General Clay ceased operations in 1999. The property has remained vacant since operations ceased. Most of the buildings and foundations will be demolished, but one building will be refurbished for future use. Upon completion of remediation, Hocking County plans to use a portion of the property to relocate their salting facility from the current facility that often floods. |
