Polski: Podstawową formą znaku Politechniki Morskiej w Szczecinie jest sygnet z logotypem w owalnym kształcie, w układzie pionowym.

SYGNET - część graficzna znaku; złożony z głowy gryfa szczecińskiego, elementów kotwicy oraz liter PM. LOGOTYP - litery okalające sygnet, tworzące nazwę: POLITECHNIKA MORSKA SZCZECIN, wpisane w kształt owalu.

Proporcje sygnetu i logotypu są ściśle określone oraz niezmienne - bez względu na sposób jego powielania
