English: A Marca Promocional da UFRGS, aquí mostrada, complementa a Marca Oficial de Identidade da universidade. Essa nova marca enfatiza a função da UFRGS como importante agente de mudanças sociais e culturais na comunidade gaúcha, principalmente nesse fim de século e início de novo milênio. A Marca Promocional sintetiza a idéia de uma UFRGS viva, dinâmica e participante, irradiando a luz e o calor do conhecimento para a comunidade, através das chamas apaixonadas do ensino, pesquisa e extensão que seus corpos docentes, discentes e técnicoadministrativos sustentam e alimentam em conjunto, com esforço e dedicacão.
