Description
Italiano: Lossodromie su carta isogona (Mercatore): navigando per parallelo dal punto A al punto B (rotta lossodromica) si segue un percorso più lungo rispetto a quello per circolo massimo passante per i suddetti punti, la rotta è data da un arco di lossodromia che non rappresenta il percorso più breve tra due punti. Una rotta con direzione Est ovvero Ovest all’equatore è invece una rotta ortodromica (linee rosse), cioè per circolo massimo. Anche una rotta che percorre un meridiano è una rotta a circolo massimo.
