Description Lot-10640-27: “New York Port of Embarkation during World War II.” Women Worker Sprays Protective Coating On Vehicles – To Prevent Damage By Salt Air And Water. Album presented to United States Under Secretary of War Robert P. Patterson, Sr., 1940-45, deals with U.S. Army troops being transported to Europe for war, specific date unidentified. He became United States Secretary of War under President Harry S. Truman, 1945-1957. Patterson died in January 1922. (2015/11/13). Fair quality imagery.
