English: Competition catalogue: Photo of the shop window of Louis Schüler, speciality shop for fitted sewing boxes. Participation in the Berlin shop window competition 1910. Award: Silver medal. Appendix, translated: "Everything that interests our ladies, scarves, silk stockings and - last but not least - the sewing box, is united here in a captivating picture. Much attention is paid to a sewing stand made of easily transportable wickerwork. In black, white and grey, the whole thing is a distinguished sight."
Deutsch: Wettbewerbskatalog: Foto des Schaufensters von Louis Schüler, Spezialgeschäft für eingerichtete Nähkästen. Beteiligung am Berliner Schaufensterwettbewerb 1910. Prämierung: Silberne Medaille. Bewertungstext im Anhang: "Alles, was unsere Damenwelt interessiert, Schals, seidene Strümpfe und — last not least — der Nähkasten, ist hier zu einem fesselnden Bilde vereinigt. Viel beachtet wird ein Nähständer, der in leicht transportablem Korbgeflecht ausgeführt ist. Schwarz-weiss-grau gehalten, gewährte das Ganze einen vornehmen Anblick." |
