| Description |
English: Karlštejn hunting chateau in the late Baroque style is situated in a semicircular extension of the south-eastern wing of the chateau pavilion. The Karlštejn hunting chateau was built between 1770 and 1775 (1776). The contracting authority of building was Czech nobleman Filip Kinský (1741 to 1827). Originally a small sacral building from 1708 stood on the site of the current chateau chapel. The original chapel was built by František Rosalie Beatrix, Countess of the Berk family from Dubá (1679 or 1684 to 1714). In the chapel was a wooden altar with the image of three saints, St. Jiljí, St. Eustach and St. Hubert. The altar was consecrated in 1708 by Abbot Norbert Želecký of Počenice (1649 - 1709), head of the Hradisko monastery or Hradiště in Moravia. However, some sources state that the altar was moved to the chapel only in later years. In 1958, the hunting chateau with a chapel wasdeclared a cultural monument of the Czech Republic, and in 1964 the altar was described in a monument document. Čeština: Osmiboká zvonička se stříškou a křížkem nad původní zámeckou kaplí. Zámecká kaple loveckého zámečku Karlštejn v pozdně barokním slohu je umístěna v půlkruhově rozšířeném jihovýchodním křídle zámeckého pavilonu. Lovecký zámek Karlštejn byl postaven v letech 1770 až 1775(1776). Zadavatelem stavby byl český šlechtic Filip Kinský (1741 až 1827). Na místě současné zámecké kaple stála původně malá sakrální stavba z roku 1708. Původní kapli nechala postavit Františka Rosalie Beatrix, hraběnka rodu Berků z Dubé (1679 nebo 1684 až 1714). V kapli byl dřevěný oltář s obrazem tří světců, sv. Jiljí, sv. Eustacha a sv. Huberta. Oltář byl vysvěcen v roce 1708 opatem Norbertem Želeckým z Počenice (1649 - 1709), představeným kláštera Hradisko nebo Hradiště na Moravě. Některé zdroje však uvádějí, že oltář byl přesunut do kaple až v pozdějších letech. V roce 1958 byl lovecký zámek s kaplí vyhlášen kulturní památkou České republiky a v roce 1964 byl oltář popsán v památkovém dokumentu.
