Description
Polski: Plac Po Farze w Lublinie. Nazwa tego placu pochodzi od znajdującego się tu niegdyś kościoła farnego pod wezwaniem św. Michała. Kościół ten został wybudowany w końcu XIII wieku, z fundacji Leszka Czarnego. Według legendy król jechał na pomoc miastu kiedy napadli je Jadźwingowie. Przybył jednak za późno, bo już zdążyli obrabować miasto. Znużony daleką drogą król zasnął i przyśnił mu się święty Michał, który kazał mu ścigać nieprzyjaciela. Król wyruszył w pogoń, napotkał Jadźwingów i pokonał ich. W podzięce za zwycięstwo ufundował kościół. Z powodu braku pieniędzy na renowację obiekt rozebrano w XIX wieku. Obecnie na placu po farze zrekonstruowano oryginalne fundamenty kościoła farnego.
