Description
English: Originally built in 1751, this flour mill was later destroyed by a fire and rebuilt in 1869, serving as a grist mill until the 1940s. The building features a gambrel roof, red brick exterior, an oxeye attic window on the rear gambrel, six-over-six double-hung windows, stone lintels and sills, a stucco-clad stone base, gabled dormers, brick pilasters, and multiple entry doors. The building is a contributing structure in the Central Bethlehem Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972, and expanded to include additional buildings in 1988, and a contributing structure in the Historic Moravian Bethlehem District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places and as a National Historic Landmark in 2012.
