Description
Deutsch: Denkmal in Clerf (Clervaux) in der Nähe der Benediktinerabtei an den Klöppelkrieg (lux.: Klëppelkrich; fr.: guerre des gourdins oder guerre des paysans; engl.: 'Peasants' War'; nl.: Boerenkrijg ) von 1798, den Befreiungskrieg der Bevölkerung gegen die französischen Besatzer. Lambert Piedboeuf schuf 1899 die zwei Relieftafeln am Klöppelkriegsdenkmal.
English: Memorial in Clervaux (german: Clerf, lux.: Klierf) near the Benedictine abbey to the Peasants' War (French.: guerre des gourdins or guerre des paysans; Lux .: Klëppelkrich, Dutch: Boerenkrijg) of 1798, the liberation war of the population against the French occupiers. Lambert Piedboeuf created in 1899 the two Reliefs of the war memorial.
Français : Mémorial à Clervaux (Allemand: Clerf, Lux .: Klierf) près de l'abbaye bénédictine de la guerre des paysans ou guerre des gourdins (Anglais: Peasants' War; Lux.: Klëppelkrich, néerlandais: Boerenkrijg) de 1798, la guerre de libération de la population contre les occupants français.
