Description
English: A diagrammatic representation of the dais and catafalque used at Westminster Hall in London for the lying in state prior to a full state funeral. The catafalque is represented by the Royal Standard; the cross is used to represent the Processional Cross of Westminster which is placed at the foot of the coffin; the numbers indicate the positions of the guards standing vigil - 1: members of the Household Cavalry or Foot Guards; 2: members of the Yeomen of the Guard; 3: members of the Honourable Corps of Gentlemen-at-Arms or the Royal Company of Archers
