Description
English: Mural painting and inscription at the gate building of the court of the Sâmbăta monastery, blaming the catholic Habsburgs of Austria for the Secularization of the monastery 1785 under Emperor Joseph II.
Deutsch: Gemälde auf Wand und Gewölbe im Torgebäude (Pforte) des Klosters Sâmbăta de Sus, Rumänien. Das Wandbild stammt aus 1993 und zeigt links den im selben Jahr renovierten aktuellen Bau, rechts den alten Bau, von 1785 bis 1928 als Ruine verfallen. Die zwei Inschrifttafeln beschreiben die Geschichte des Klosters mit den Jahresdaten 1696, 1785, 1928, 1992, 1985–1993, 15. August 1993.
