Description
Deutsch: Der "Vorstahlmeister" und Schmied Christian Eberstein in Buxtehude, hier dargestellt mit großem Hammer am Amboss nahe der Esse, umringt von Männern mit Hut oder Zylinder. Durch die geöffnete Tür ist im Hintergrund eine alleinstehende Frau in Rot zu sehen, noch weiter hinten ein älteres Paar, von dem der Mann mit einem Stock geht. Im Vordergrund links oben ein Rosen-umranktes Blatt Papier, dessen Text mit einem

„Gruss aus der Schmiede von Buxtehude“

in plattdeutscher Sprache reimt:

„Veel Selt'nes Buxtehude schafft,
Und hier bi denn berühmten Smidt
Holst du die nee Lebenskraft.
