English: On 8 January 1967 Troop "B" 3rd Squadron 4th Cavalry, 25th Infantry Division joined in Operation Cedar Falls as a blocking force along the Saigon River in the Filhol Plantation approximately 12 miles north west of Cu Chi, the troops' base camp, which is 27 miles north west of Saigon. M-48A3 tanks move into the company base camp after completing a "search and destroy" mission against the VC. |
