Dice “La Legge” di Torino che il feldmaresciallo Radetzky ha offerto un magnifico pranzo ai plenipotenziari di S. M. sarda nella casa di Monza dove vive. Gli invitati erano 30. Il barone de Mesburg dovrà tornare fra breve a Vienna e in seguito avrà luogo in maniera solenne lo scambio delle credenziali fra i ministri dell’imperatore d’Austria [1] e quelli del re di Sardegna. Un centinaio di cannonate annunceranno al pubblico la conclusione della pace, che saranno una eccezione ai regolamenti militari che proibiscono di fare uso sul posto della artiglieria in segno di festa. Le truppe imperiali si dispongono a tornare in Lombardia. Si dice che al momento di promulgare la pace sarà nominato principe con titolo di A.S.[Altezza Serenissima] il feldmaresciallo Radetzky.
