Nederlands: Achter en naast de tafel zitten en staan zestien reformatoren, elk voorzien van een letter corresponderend met de letter in de namenlijst onderaan waarvan de tekst als volgt luidt: A.Ioannes.Wiclef.bloeide.int.iaer.1386.overleden.1387.en.1428.opgegraven.en.verbrant.

Op de tafel een Evangelieboek (Evangelium) met daarop een kandelaar met brandende kaars vergezeld van het motto: ’TLICHT IS OP DEN KANDELAER GESTELT. Voor de tafel proberen een bisschop, een jezuïet, een duivel in de gedaante van een salamander, een paus, en een franciscaan de kaars uit te blazen.Van de teksten die uit hun mond komen zijn alleen die bij de paus (valsche successie) en de bisschop (verkeerde geleertheit) leesbaar. Dit deel van de voorstelling is een tijdlang verborgen geweest: het doek was langs de nog zichtbare naad over de hele breedte omgevouwen. Aan de achterwand portretten van nog eens zes reformatoren voorzien van de volgende inscripties: Gregorius.Princeps.Anhaldius.Astanice.Comes.Obijt.1553. / Ioannes.Alasco.Polonius.obijt.1509. / Guilielmus.Farellus.obijt.1565. / Iohannese.Sleijdanus.obijt.1556. / Philippus.Manixius.D.de Sanct Aldegonde obijt.1595 / Franciscus.Iunius.obijt.1600.
