Deutsch: Adventsleuchter mit Engeln und Stern
Entwurf: Georg Beyer (1904 - 1985) KWO Kunstgewerbe Werkstätten Opernhaus, Werk Grünhainichen, um 1955 „Das Evangelium in der Wohnungen der Völker. Ökumenische und kulturvergleichende Sammlung Gertrud Weinhold“Mit seinen vier Lichtern, die jeweils sonntags im Advent angezündet werden, zeigt der Leuchter das Fortschreiten der Adventszeit. Der Stern in der Mittel verweist auf den „Stern von Betlehem“. Augenfällig sind die vier gedrechselten Engel. Der Faltenrock und der Margeritenkranz verordne die Herstellung nach Grünhainichen im Erzgebirge. Hier entwickelt Olly Sommer (später Wendt) ab 1925 die sogenannte Margeritenengel, und um 1948 entwarf Georg Beyer die ersten Faltenrock-Engel. |
