Deutsch: Das Mönchengladbacher Münster vom Abteigarten fotografiert. Das Mönchengladbacher Münster war bis 1802 die Abteikirche der Abtei Gladbach. Der Baubeginn war im Jahr 974. Zur 1000-Jahr-Feier der Abteigründung im Jahr 1974 wurde die Kirche vom Papst zur päpstlichen Basilica minor erhoben. Das im romanischen Stil mit gotischen Chor erbaute Münster ist ein bedeutendes Bauwerk und Denkmal im Rheinland.
English: The "Mönchengladbacher Münster" photographed from the Abbey garden. The Mönchengladbach Münster was the Abbey Church of the Abbey of Gladbach until 1802. The construction was started in the year 974. The Church was elevated to the 1000-year anniversary of the Abbey was founded in the year 1974 of the Pope to a Basilica minor. The Cathedral was built in the Romanesque style with Gothic choir is a significant building and monument in the Rhineland.
Français : Le Abbaye de Mönchengladbach photographié depuis le jardin de l'abbaye. La Mönchengladbach Münster était l'église abbatiale de l'abbaye de Gladbach jusqu'en 1802. La construction a débuté en l'an 974. L'église fut élevée à l'anniversaire de 1000 ans de l'abbaye a été fondé en l'an 1974 du pape à la basilique minore. La cathédrale a été construite dans le style roman style avec le chœur gothique est un important édifice et monument en Rhénanie.
