Description
English: Bass valve trombone (armeeposaune) in 13-ft E♭ by Karl Schamal, Prague c. 1880. Brass with German silver garland, ferrules, stays, bow guard, and valve parts. Bell with gusset; garland width 43 mm. Blade bow guard. With ring for carriage strap; no water-key; 3 rotary valves, buffers mounted on rotors; edge of bell to bow guard 765 mm; bell 186 mm. White-balance adjusted background.
