Čeština: MUDr. Jiří Bondy (* 2. dubna 1910 Praha – 22. července 1942 Malá pevnost Terezín) byl manželem Lydie Bondyové (rozená Lidie Holznerová; * 3. září 1921 – 24. října 1942 koncentrační tábor Mauthausen). Stejně jako Lydie i on byl označen za podporovatele parašutistů výsadku Anthropoid, byl zatčen, ale dříve, než se konala hromadná poprava českých vlastenců v koncentračním táboře Mauthausen 24. října 1942, byl 22. července 1942 umlácen dozorci ve věznici gestapa v Malé pevnosti v Terezíně.
English: MUDr. Jiří Bondy (* 2 April 1910 Prague - 22 July 1942 Terezín Small Fortress) was the husband of Lydia Bondy (née Lidie Holzner; * 3 September 1921 - 24 October 1942 Mauthausen concentration camp). Like Lydia, he was labelled as a supporter of the Anthropoid paratroopers and was arrested, but before the mass execution of Czech patriots in the Mauthausen concentration camp on 24 October 1942, he was beaten to death by guards in the Gestapo prison in the Small Fortress in Terezín on 22 July 1942. |
