English: I in the right aisle of the Cathedral of Atria. Does it represent the Madonna with Child among the saints Giovanni Battista, Giovanni Evangelista and Berardo (?), more known as Madonna of the Goldfinch, considering that the small Jesus hands this bird to the Baptist. It was realized at the end of the XIV century from the Maestro of Offida, artist identified in Luca of Atri of the Abruzzo.
Italiano: Affresco nella navata destra del Duomo di Atri. Raffigura la Madonna con Bambino tra i santi Giovanni Battista, Giovanni Evangelista e Berardo (?), più noto come Madonna del Cardellino, visto che il piccolo Gesù porge questo uccello al Battista. Fu realizzato alla fine del XIV secolo dal Maestro di Offida, artista identificato nell'abruzzese Luca d'Atri. |
