Español: Madrid ha demostrado hoy su agradecimiento a las personas e instituciones que han centrado su labor en Madrid y han contribuido a la mejora de la ciudad y a la construcción de su identidad. Lo ha hecho a través de Madrid Agradece, una iniciativa que parte del consenso de todos los grupos políticos del Ayuntamiento y que ha celebrado su primera edición en la que se han entregado galardones a ocho proyectos repartidos en cuatro categorías: Cultura, Divulgación Cultural y Científica, Deportes y Fines Sociales. El escritor Juan Eduardo Zúñiga y la Banda Sinfónica Municipal han sido los merecedores de estas distinciones en la categoría de Cultura; el Gremio de Libreros y el Archivo de la Villa, en la de Divulgación Cultural y Científica; la campeona del mundo de kenpo karate Zenib Laari Inoune y la San Silvestre Vallecana, en Deportes; y la Fundación Amigos de los Mayores y Sor Pura Costas, en Fines Sociales. |
