Description
Deutsch: Mahnmal zur Erinnerung an die Zerstörung der Kieler Synagoge Goethestraße während der Reichspogromnacht 1938; vor dem Mehrfamilienwohnhaus, mit dem das frühere Synagogengrundstück in den 1960er-Jahren neu bebaut wurde.
Das Mahnmal wurde 1989 von der Bildhauerin Doris Waschk-Balz geschaffen, wobei eine zunächst 1968 an dem Wohnhaus angebrachte Gedenktafel mit in das Mahnmal integriert wurde und sich seitdem auf einem niedrigen Natursteinsockel neben dem Mahnmal befindet.
Standort: Auf dem früheren Synagogengrundstück in der Goethestraße/Ecke Humboldtstraße in Kiel-Schreventeich in Schleswig-Holstein, Deutschland.
