Views of the Main Street Bridge. The bridge officially opened on July 30, 2010. Spiro Pollalis designed the 700-foot, three-span, inclined arch suspension bridge, with alterations made by Columbus engineering firm DLZ. It was the first inclined arch suspension bridge constructed in the United States. The last photo shows the plaque that commemorated the previous Main Street Bridge that this one replaced. |
