The iridescent pyramids of Abu Dhabi, sculpted by artist Jim Denevan.

Summary[edit]

Description
English: Situated on Fahid Island in Abu Dhabi, this photo shows monumental land art that displays a breathtaking fusion of tradition and innovation. These pyramids, part of Jim Denevan's 'Self Similar' installation, stretch across nearly one square kilometer, rising as high as twenty-seven meters. Crafted with care from the sands of the desert, the artwork symbolizes the connection to nature and the passage of time.
