Description
Deutsch: Marburgs Zentrum vom "Kaiser-Wilhelm-Turm" gesehen. In Bildmitte das Biegenviertel nahe der Lahn in Marburg mit der Oberstadt ein wenig weiter im Westen hinter dem grünen Rechteck des Alten Botanischen Garten aufragend und der von hier aus klein wirkenden E-Kirche etwas weiter rechts im Norden der Stadt. Dahinter das Marburger Schloss mit dem bewaldeten Dammelsberg. Schön ist zu sehen, wie sich die früheren Dörfchen Ockershausen im Süden und Marbach (zugedeckte Ketzerbach) im Norden der früheren Burg heute die Seitentäler der Lahn mit den ehemaligen kleinen Bachläufen den Hang nach oben bis fast zum Kamm des Marburger Rückens hinaufziehen. Die Tallage durchzieht die Stadtautobahn B3 von links nach rechts.
