Français : Marie Fitzbach « C’est en 1856 que Marie Fitzbach fondait, à Québec, la communauté des Servantes du Cœur Immaculé de Marie, mieux connues sous le nom des Sœurs du Bon-Pasteur. Elles accueillaient celles qu’on appelait les «brebis perdues», c’est-à-dire les filles-mères. Elles œuvreront sur la rue Couillard du Vieux-Québec à leur maison Béthanie et dans deux crèches : celle de la Saint-Vincent de Paul et celle de la Miséricorde. En 70 ans, elles y auront accueilli 38000 enfants. » - Société historique de Québec |
