Čeština: Plukovník Josef Churavý (* 1894 – † 1942) (brigádní generál in memoriam). Příslušník československých legií v Rusku. Za protektorátu byl jednou z nejvýznamnějších postav II. odboje, kde působil jako čelný představitel ilegální vojenské odbojové organizace "Obrana národa". Spolupracovník zpravodajsko - sabotážní skupiny "Tři králové" (Balabán, Mašín, Morávek). Josef Churavý (v hodnosti štábního kapitána generálního štábu) s manželkou Marií Churavou rozenou Volfovou (* 1897 - † 1982). Blíže k otci starší syn Václav Churavý (* 1923 - † 2002), blíže k matce mladší syn Miloslav Churavý (* 1926 - † 2014). Fotografie pořízena nejspíše v blíže nespecifikované fotoateliéru neznámým fotografem a je datována: 28. října 1927. Snímek byl nalezen v pozůstalosti po synech Josefa Churavého.
English: Colonel Josef Churavý (* 1894 – † 1942) (Brigadier General in memoriam). A member of the Czechoslovak legions in Russia. In time of the protectorate was one of the most important persons of anti-nazi resistance. He worked as the leading representative of the illegal military organization "Defence of the Nation". Coworker of the intelligence - sabotage group named "Three Kings" (Balabán, Mašín, Morávek). Josef Churavý (with the rank of Staff Captain General Staff) and his wife Marie Churavá born Volfová (* 1897 - † 1982). Closer to the father is his older son Václav Churavý (* 1923 - † 2002). Closer to the mother is her younger son Miloslav Churavý (* 1926 - † 2014). Photograph was taken probably in some unspecified Photo atelier by unknown photographer and is dated: 28th October 1927. The photo was found in the inheritance after dead of the sons of Josef Churavý. |
