Description
Deutsch: Marien-Hospital zu Düsseldorf, 1902: Das Bild zeigt das Marienhospital Sternstraße 91 in Düsseldorf. Architekt war August Rincklake. „Es wurde in den Jahren 1867–1869 in gothischem Rohbaustile ausgeführt und liegt in einem 11 Morgen großen Garten. Das Hospital hat 350 Betten, die auf 24 Säle und 40 Zimmer verteilt sind. Seine ersten Kranken erhielt es am 15. August 1870; obgleich es damals im Inneren noch nicht ganz fertiggestellt war; es waren Verwundete aus dem deutsch-französischen Kriege, von denen im Ganzen ca. 800 dort verpflegt worden sind.“
