Summary[edit]

Description

The Marienburg with the former grammar school, run by the Society of the Divine Word, is located in a park with magnificent old trees of international origin on the slope of the Buchberg in Thal, Canton St. Gallen. The two centuries-old sequoia trees (Sequoiadendron giganteum) in the middle ground are clearly visible. The park and the former manor house are among the monuments of regional importance.
