Description
English: Earliest known photography of Schwerin (status as of 2020), situated in Stadtarchiv Schwerin. Buildings are from right towards left: Am Markt 2 (same facades todays), at the corner the former building on former property Schmiedestr. 1 (todays belonging to Am Markt 2) with eyebrow dormer und Schmiedestr. 3 (same facades todays). Two carriages in the foreground, and a manual water pump
Deutsch: Älteste bekannte Fotografie von Schwerin (Stand 2020), befindlich im Stadtarchiv Schwerin. Die Gebäude sind von rechts nach links: Am Markt 2 (Fassade noch heute so), an der Ecke das nicht mehr existente Haus auf dem ehem. Grundstück Schmiedestr. 1 mit Fledermausgaube (jetzt zu Am Markt 2 gehörig) und Schmiedestr. 3 (Fassade heute noch so). Zwei Kutschen im Vordergrund und eine Wasserpumpe.
