| Description |
La Joliette | Rue de Forbin/Rue Vincent Leblanc The building was owned by Company Aimé Biétron who had marketed milk products before being transferred to the company Maifreddy. Both of them had established their administrations there. Built in rubble, the stones cut in crude limestone rocks commonly used in Provencal buildings, the building was one of the finest examples of industrial architecture in Marseille. Arch. Gaston and Victor Faure 1911. Only the building's pediment was preserved during the demolition of the building in March 2013. It will be restored and adapted to the new office building and shops which will be completed in 2015. |
