Español: Monumento conmemorativo dedicado a los mártires cristianos san Ciriaco y santa Paula, en el parque Martiricos, Málaga, España. El monumento consta de cuatro planchas de acero corten ondulado con sendos fragmentos de texto perforado en cada una de ellas que, unidos en combinación, recogen una cita en latín del Martirologio de Usuardo del siglo IX relativa al martirio de los santos. El texto en cada una de las planchas dice: «"In Hispaniis civitate Malaca,»; «sanctorum martyrum Siriaci & Paulae virginis,»; «qui post multa tormenta sibi illata, / lapidibus obruti, / inter saxa animas caelo reddiderunt"»; «Martyrologium Usuardus (s. IX)» [en español: «"En España, en la ciudad de Málaga,»; «el tránsito de los Santos Mártires Ciriaco y Paula, virgen,»; «quienes después de muchos tormentos padecidos, / aplastados por las piedras, / entre las rocas devolvieron las almas al cielo". Martirologio de Usuardo (s. IX)»]. |
