Former Klan Figure Dies in California. Atlanta, Georgia; September 12, 1924. Mrs. Elizabeth Tyler Grow, around whom much controversy raged during the early days of the Ku Klux Klan, died Wednesday in Altadena, California, according to an announcement received early today by the Atlanta Constitution from E. Y. Clarke, former imperial kleagle of the order.
