Summary[edit]

Description
English: Known as the “Mask of Agamemnon,” this exquisite funerary mask is made of gold, c. 16th century BCE. It was found in 1876 by Heinrich Schliemann in Tomb V at Mycenae, Greece. Currently on display in the National Archaeological Museum, Athens, Greece. The original image was photographed an uploaded by user:Leo2004 at the German language Wikipedia.
