Description
English: The Mattress Factory Lofts, 170 Florida Street, Buffalo, New York, April 2020. Built in 1911, the building was home to Otis Bed Manufacturing Company's production facility where bedding and mattresses were fabricated and bed feathers sanitized. After they vacated the property in 1939, the building was used for plastic manufacturing by the Bernard Oishei and the DuBois Plastic Products companies. Its conversion into loft apartments and office space for the Preservation Studios architectural consulting firm was completed in 2018.
