Description

SOURCE INFO - The original image is one of a series of real photo cards purchased by my late father-in-law Driver Tom Beazley, of the Australian Army 1/2 Movement Control Group, Middle East Headquarters (Cairo), 2nd Australian Imperial Force, whilst on leave in Ismailia, Egypt.

IMAGE INFO - The road to the right heads into the area of the French Gardens called "Bois des fontaines" - literally "Wood of fountains" - with magnificent stands of mature trees & shrubs.. - Viewpoint is looking north.

RESTORATION INFO - Digitized using a Canon Canoscan 8800F scanner.

- Restored from the badly scratched & faded original photo print, using Adobe Photoshop Creative Suite 8.0 (duotone version).
