Description	English: The U.S. Navy McDonnell XHJH-1 Whirlaway (BuNo 44318) in flight, circa in 1947. The single prototype made its first flight on 27 April 1946, designated XHJD-1. When the company identification letter of McDonnell was changed by the U.S. Navy from "D" to "H", it was designated XHJH-1.
